Robert E. Hodge, 33, 2511 E. 9th St., expired at 4:50 a.m. today after an illness of three months.
Mr. Hodge was an employee of Delco-Remy Division, Plant 4. He was born Nov. 17, 1937 in Anderson to Floyd and Rosemary Dietz Hodge, and had lived here all of his life. He was a member of the Bailey Chapel EUB Church.
Surviving are his wife, Alberta Mae; his mother, Mrs. Rosemary Rogers of Anderson; two daughters, Maryetta Maxine and Leah Melissa, at home; a son, Robert Floyd Hodge, at home; four sisters, Mrs. Ora (Zelma) Parkhurst, Mrs. Glen (Louise) Baldwin, and Mrs. Michael (Doris) Covington, all of Anderson, and Mrs. Fred (Annabelle) Carpenter of Elwood; a brother, Kenneth Leroy Hodge of Anderson; an aunt, Mrs. Minnie Rummel of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Brown and Butz Funeral Home by Rev. Joseph Paschal of the Irondale Church of God. Burial will be in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 12 noon Friday.
