David, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 16, 2019 in Lansing, Michigan. Dave was born to Dewey and Ruth (Wygant) Acker at the home in Webberville where he lived and worked for his 80 years of life.
A lifelong dairy farmer, Dave enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing – always catching the biggest fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Joan Acker; his sisters, Edith Northrup and Beatrice Silsby; and his brother, Floyd Acker.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 11 years, Sharon; his step-children, April (Dale) Richmond, Nancy McCowan, and Thomas (Linda) Showers; his grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, and Jessica Baldwin and Brittany and Jordan McCowan; his great-grandson, Landon; his many beloved nieces and nephews; and his dear friend Bob Benjamin.
Funeral Services were held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church, in Webberville.
