Edward J. Day, 93, of Green Bay, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2003. He was born Jan. 10, 1910, in Green Bay to Timothy and Sophie (Jopek) Day. On Oct. 22, 1932, he married Marjorie Weslow at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church. She preceded him in death on June 25, l991. He had been employed at Andrews Oil for many years until his retirement in 1975.

Survivors include one daughter, Mary Ellen Zellner, Denmark; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Libby Day, San Diego, Calif., Fred and Lois Day, Warsaw, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, Sam (Sue) Zellner, Annie Zellner, Alex (Loni) Zellner, Amy (Joe) Siehr, Tim Day, Sean Day, Ed (Marsan) Day, Laura (Rick) Winkelspecht, Patrick Day and John Day; 7 step-grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn (Al) Dobesh, Green Bay; his numerous godchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; a son-in-law, Robert Zellner; two grandsons, Keric and Mike Day; one great-grandson, Casey; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary (Ed) Warpinski, Margaret (Gene) Hebel, Alice (Elmer) Magley; one sister-in-law and her husband, Ruth and Wally Holme; an infant brother, John; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alex and Ellen Weslow, dear friend, Helen O'Brien and Ed Heinrich.

Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. There will be a Parish Wake Service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Friends may also call at St. Willebrord Catholic Church, 209 S. Adams St., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church with the Rev.
