Mrs. Celesta R. Foster
Mrs. Celesta Robertson Foster passed away at her home on Oak Hill on Monday afternoon, after many years of failing health. She was born in the Town of Greenwich on January 8, 1866, a daughter of Russell King and Margaret Shanahan Robertson.
On June 7, 1892, she was united in marriage to Allen C. Foster of ****, who died in 1915.
Survivors include a daughter, Miss Margaret J. Foster of Oak Hill, a son, Fred A. Foster of Cambridge; two sisters, Mrs. Thomas S. Moses of Eagle Bridge and Miss Winona Robertson of Pasadena, California; three brothers, Joseph D. Robertson of Eagle Bridge, Fred E. Robertson of Savannah, N.Y., and Gordon Robertson of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Miss Florence M. Foster of Cambridge and allen Foster, S 1-c of the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at two o'clock at O.K. Spurr funeral home, the Rev. *** A. Simmons, pastor of Embury Methodist Church, officiating. The body will be place in the vault of Woodlands Cemetery and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
