He is preceded in death by a great-grandfather, Carl Barnes, and great-grandmother, Norma Jane Batts.
He is survived by his mother, Amber Batts; grandmother, Rita Batts, grandfather, Tyrell Batts, great-grandmother, Julia Barnes, great-grandfather, Melvin Batts, an uncle, Nicholas Batts, and an aunt Tiana Smith, all of Shelbyville; and a host of numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.
