"During Jessie's life she had been an active member of First Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville where she served as a secretary for 17 years, Elder, Deacon, Women's Club, Bible School Teacher and Youth Fellowship Advisor. She also had been a school bus driver for over 10 years with St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools. She was a former member of the Hilltoppers.
In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her first husband, Cornelius Jobes; her second husband, Calvin M. Pollock; and three brothers, Isaac Egy, David Egy and Philip Egy.
Surviving are her two daughters, Connie Cornelia Pollock and Nell (Mike "Terry") Murrell, both of St. Clairsville; two sons, Calvin E. Pollock and William "Beezie" Pollock, both of St. Clairsville; four grandchildren, David (Sawako) Bush, Eric (Trisha) Bush, Theresa (Josh) Chambers and Matthew Murrell; eight great grandchildren, Mikayla Bush, Marcus Bush, Devin Chambers, Austin Chambers, Hunter Chambers, Taylor Jessie Mae Chambers, Atticus Murrell and Madelyn Murrell."
