Carol Brady Baldwin, 87, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2019 in Logan.

She was born July 11, 1931. She and her twin brother, Calvin, were the last set of twins (three sets in a row) among fourteen children born to Hyrum and Hattie Peirce Brady of Union. She loved her family dearly and loved being raised on "Brady Row." She attended Jordan High School, where she was the drum majorette.

While cleaning house for Cynthia Crezee, she was introduced to Dale Baldwin, Cynthia's grandson. He was a handsome U.S. Marine and the love of her life. They dated her senior year and were sealed on June 8, 1949 in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with six children.

Carol loved all things home and family. She was an excellent cook and her meals were enjoyed by all. She and Dale loved to entertain friends and family at their home in Summit Park. Dale designed and built their dream home with the help of his children and Carol was the decorator. She loved to read and play bridge with friends.

Later in life, Carol worked for ten years in the education department at the University of Utah as an administrative assistant. She valued education and learning and encouraged her children in all their endeavors.

She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving faithfully wherever asked, but said the Cub Scouts just about did her in.

Carol experienced a lot of loss in her life. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Dale; and four sons. Her firstborn son was stillborn and Mitch (56), Tracy (9), and Jeff (56) all died of leukemia. Today, there is a grand reunion in heaven! She is survived by her two daughters, Julie (Gary) Lynch Payne, St. George; and Carolyn (Cal) Taylor, Deweyville; and twin brother, Calvin Brady, Murray. Carol and Dale have seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street (100 East), Murray, with a viewing prior from 10:30-11:45 a.m.
Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
