Allen Glen Maddox, age 92, of Tecumseh, passed away peacefully on February 20,2019, surrounded by his loving children. Glen was born February 19, 1927 in Lincoln County, TN to Ellis and Mamie (Dollar) Maddox. He attended Dellrose High School. Glen served in the U.S Army 82nd Airborne Division March 1945 to November 1946. Glen moved to Adrian in 1947, and married Irene Hughes in 1948. They enjoyed 70 years of marriage, living in Cadmus, Michigan for 61 years. They moved to Tecumseh in 2014, and Irene preceded him in death in 2018. Glen had been employed by Stubnitz Green, and Hoover Ball bearing for 36 years and then worked at American Chain and Cable until he retired in 1988.

Glen is survived by two daughters, Diane (Armando) Lopez of Vail, AZ and Kathy Detloff of Tecumseh; a son Dale (Ronda) Maddox of Tecumseh; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, three brothers, and a grandson.

A Graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park, Adrian, MI, with Linda Farley officiating. Burial will be in Lenawee Hills Memorial Park in Adrian with Full Military Rites conducted by Underwood Orr Post #34 Tecumseh, MI.
