Thomas Rivers was born in 1775, in Hancock County, Georgia. His parents were Thomas Rivers Sr, (1740 VA - 1789 VA) and Mary Jones. He married Mary ( Polly) Bonner on 30 November 1809, in Hancock County, Georgia. They were the parents of 2 sons and 6 daughters. He lived in Monticello, Jasper County, Georgia in 1820 and Jasper County, Georgia in 1830. He died in 1864, at the age of 89.
