MSG Ronald Eugene Lee, Retired, 84, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Autumn Care of Fayetteville.
Ronald was born in Walker, WV on January 26, 1935 to the late Walter Arden Lee and Ida Jane Leasure Lee. Ronald retired from the US Air Force and then followed his heart into full time ministry. He pastored until 2010 and retired after many years in the ministry. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Shriner Lee and 9 siblings. Ronald will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Ronald E. Lee Jr. and wife Diana of Dayton, OH; daughters, Catherine Dwyer and husband Stephen of Anchorage, AK and Carrie Daws and husband Brian of Raeford; a brother, Bob Lee of Tennessee; 2 sisters, Alice Rice of Pennsylvania and Jean Mullen of West Virginia; 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of extended family members.
Graveside services with full military honors will be 12:00 noon Monday, March 4, 2019 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 8220 Bragg Blvd, Fort Bragg, NC 28301.
