Survivors are his wife, Donna, one son, James L. Lyons, two stepsons, Marvin (Carrie) Long, and William Weedling, two daughters, Sharon R. Mitro, and Rebecca J. (Greg) Douglas, three stepdaughters, Shelby Bettress, Patti Whittaker, and Christine Price, three sisters, Ruby B. (Windle) Kistner, Betty M. Thompson, and Joyce D. Wells, 50 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Burial: Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
