Lillie was the oldest of nine children born to William Thomas and Grace Mae (Castle) Colvin. She married Samuel J. Weimer in 1917 and they had four daughters: Dorothea Cristell, Norma Carol, Donna Jean and Annabelle.

Birdie Weimer

COLLEGE PLACE - Birdie L. Weimer, 97, a resident of Blue Mountain Convalescent Center, died there June 27, 1993.
Those who wish may call Colonial-DeWitt Funeral Home, 19 E. Birch St., until 5 tonight and Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The funeral will be 19:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Chaplain Walt Meske of Walla Walla General Hospital will officiate. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, College place.
Mrs. Weimer was born May 19, 1896, in Steamboat Springs, Colo., to William and Grace Mae Castle Colvin. She moved with her parents in a covered wagon from Colorado to Idaho. She later moved to California, then returned to Idaho.
On June 13, 1917, she married Samuel J. Weimer, in Baker City, Oregon They moved to Yakima Valley around 1920 where they owned and operated apple orchards. In 1930, they moved to Renton, Wash., where she ran a service station. They moved to this area in 1948 from Renton and owned and operated the Weimer Trailer court in College Place. Mr. Weimer died Oct. 19, 1967.
Mrs. Weimer retired in 1977. She enjoyed reading and caring for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Walla Walla College Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Dunham of College Place and Annabelle Guglielmelli of Palo Alto, Calif.; two sisters, Evelyn White of College place and Myrtle Sparhawk of Gresham, Ore.; two brothers, Harold Colvin of Walla Walla and Marvin Colvin of Carnation, Wash.; 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Norma Weimer and Dorothea Holleson; four brothers; and a grandson, Tony Guglielmelli.
