Mr. Wagner entered the hospital 14 days before his death which was caused by a hart ailment.
A native of South Russia,where he was born Jan. 11,1862, Mr. Wagner came to the United States in October,1889, settling at Eureka,S.D. He moved to what is now Lincoln Valley, N.D. in 1898,and lived on a farm north of there until 1939, when he moved to McClusky.
Mr. Wagner was one of the founders of the Baptist church of Lincoln Valley.
In 1886, Christian Wagner was married to Elzabeth Schafer. He leaves, besides his wife, the following sons and daughters; Mrs. John Renner, McClusky; Henry Wagner,McLaughlin,S.D.; Ed C Wagner,Portland, Orel; Gust Wagner,Reserve,Mont.;Emil Wagner,Lincoln Valley; Mrs. Andrew Klein, Carrington; Albert Wagner, McClusky; one brother Ludwig Wagner, McClusky and 13 grandchildren.
