Clifford R. Rush Dies, Rites Wednesday
Clifford H. Rush, 64, a resident of Colorado Springs for the last 18 years, died Monday at a local hospital. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Law drawing room with Dr. W.C. Bryant officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. The Law Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Rush was born Jan. 4, 1893, at Malloy, Ia. A locomotive engineer for the Rock Island Railroad, he came to Colorado Springs from Goodland, Kan. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad engineers and the First Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Alice; a daughter, Mrs. Alberta Houchins, Kansas City, Mo,; a son, William L. Rush of Ent Air Force Base; four brothers, William A. Rush, Hastings, Neb., John B. Rush, Sargent, Neb., Harry Rush and Day Rush, both of Chula Vista, Calif,; three sisters, Mrs. T.J. Jacquet, Mrs. V.V. Chandler and Mrs. N.A. Short, all of Chula Vista.
