KOHN, Betty Louise (Edwards-Tanner) 101.5 yrs - Wife of the late Carl E. Kohn (US Navy), Together Forever, and the late Edward F. Tanner (RCAF). Resident of Rochester Hills, Michigan for over 50 years and previously Keego Harbor. Betty was born September 13th, in Birmingham, Michigan, to the late George & Bessie Edwards. George & Bessie had 16 children, Betty was the 7th child. In birth order Betty was the dear sister of the late Phyllis Ruth Schwartz, Robert Fanning Edwards, Lyle Frederick Edwards, Thomas Hooper Edwards, Dorothy Elizabeth Edwards, Reginald Alden Edwards, (Betty was born), George Louis Edwards, John Richard Edwards, Shirley Ann Doty, Peggy Marie Dickerson, Joseph Henry Edwards, Mary Jane Gass, Patricia Ellen Schlink, James Arthur Edwards and survived by her sister Barbara Jean Hornbeck.

Betty is survived by her 5 children, Edward (Jo) Tanner Jr. of Taylor, MI, Patricia (Jim) Gabriel of Lincoln, CA, Deana (John) Cadieux of Rochester Hills, MI, Susan (Carl) Evola of Shelby Twp, MI and Christopher (Lisa) Kohn of Detroit, MI; and 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Betty was predeceased by her beloved son Stephen Kohn in 2016 and Great grandson David Cadieux in 2014.

In memory of Betty, a gift may be made to Library of Michigan Foundation which helped tremendously since she became legally blind in her later years, The Michael J. Fox Foundation or Grace Hospice – Troy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3rd, 2019 from 4-8 PM with a Funeral Service Monday, March 4th, 2019 at 1 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI 48307.
