Funeral service for Mr. James E. Wyatt, Sr. of Alabama will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Drive West Monroe, LA, interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 12pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Mr. James was born March 4, 1932 and passed from this life on Saturday, February23, 2019 at the age of 86.
He enjoyed building projects with friends, woodworking, fishing & hunting. Some of his best times were church outings and vacations with friends and family. Weekend card games were always a favorite.
He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Wyatt; Son, James (Jimmy) E Wyatt, Jr. Grand-daughter, Angela Wyatt; Parents, Newt and Florine Wyatt; Brothers, Webb Pierce, Roy Pierce; and sister, Vivian King.
Those left to cherish James memories include his daughter, Karen Pool and Husband Philip of Jacksonville, AL. Daughter-n-Law, Kathy Wyatt of West Monroe,LA. Grandchildren, Chris Wyatt, Jason Wyatt, Crystal Wyatt, Renee Blaylock, Jamie Wyatt, Jeff Pool, Amanda Pool. Numerous Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
