He attended Trinity Lutheran School before graduating from Reitz High School with the class of 1972. In his younger days, David formed a band with friends that frequently played in local establishments across the tri-state. David was a Customer Service Engineer for over 35 years with Xerox. After his retirement David began an electronic repair shop which he ran out of his home. By being an avid reader and having a sharp mind David was well versed in various fields from technology, politics and sports.
David is survived by his mother, Joyce Ann (Norman) Bircher of Evansville, IN; sisters, Louise Winternheimer (Jim) of Mount Vernon, IN and Lynne Belcher (Tom) of Evansville, IN; brother, John Bircher of Evansville, IN; nieces and nephews, Karen, Amanda, David, Sam and Sarah; and six great-nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his father, Don Charles Bircher.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, March 3, 2019, Burial will be held at Blue Grass Cemetery
