AUTUMN'S OBITUARY
Autumn Claire Ford, 16, of the Banks community passed away Saturday morning, February 23, 2019 in a motor vehicle accident off Highway 6.

Autumn was born on September 13, 2002 in Beaverton, OR. She was the youngest of six children born to Edgar Dean Ford and Tina LuAnn (Cook) Ford. Autumn and her family lived in St Helens where she attended Kindergarten and elementary school. She moved with her mother to Banks at the age of nine here she attended Banks Elementary School, Banks Middle School and Banks High School.

She was passionate about painting, drawing and cooking, which she was very good at. She loved hanging out with her friends and knew every lyric to every song, and loved singing loud and proud. She was an aspiring beautician and cosmetologist, often times making her mom be her test subject. Her favorite place to go was the beach and enjoyed camping in the woods. Another favorite past time was target shooting with her family, to which she was an excellent shot.

Autumn was always a champion for the underdog and would never stand by when bullying was going on. She stood up for others to a fault. She loved her family and friends with a deep and fierce love. Autumn had a way of trying to bring joy to others and would roll down the car window and shout out compliments to random people, such as “You’re beautiful”. Autumn absolutely loved and adored her nieces and nephews. She was in her element when she would be babysitting them.

When Autumn was younger she played basketball, the sense of team, and the fact that she was good at it, were reasons Autumn enjoyed the game. She was very competitive when she played and would have to be reminded that Basketball was, in fact, not a tackling sport. She was a very loving and caring person which extended to more than just her family and friends, and you would often find Autumn hugging random grandparents and people just because she felt like it. Her love also extended to animals; dogs, chickens, cats and most specifically, horses. Autumn had a dream to one day live on a farm with acreage where she could have all the horses, dogs, chickens and maybe even a few llamas that she wanted.

Autumn is preceded in death by her uncle, Darren Ford.

She is survived by her parents; Ed Ford of St Helens, Tina Ford of Banks, five siblings and their spouses; Leroy & Dena Ford of Woodland, WA, James Ford of St. Helens, OR, Darren & Audrey Ford of St. Helens, Jacob & Lanesa Ford of Banks, OR and Jared Ford of Banks, OR, grandparents James Ford of Colton, OR, Joann Ford of St. Helens, OR, Rocky and Shirley Cook of Jefferson, OR, three nieces and four nephews, six aunts and five uncles.
