MICHAEL R. LAZZIO, 61, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2007, from cancer. Michael is survived by Marjorie, his best friend and loving wife of 33 years. He was born December 7, 1945, in Warren, Ohio, the son of the late Frank & Rose Lazzio, and sister of Emily Lazzio who resides in Niles, Ohio. He proudly served our country in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for US Steel McDonald Works and was an antique dealer in the Houston area. A Memorial Mass will be held for Michael on Sunday, June 10, 2007, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Chapel of the VA Medical Center, Second Floor, 2002 Holcombe Blvd., Houston. Following the Mass, family & friends are invited to share in a Remembrance Service for Michael at the VA Chapel. Funeral Mass, 10:00 AM., Saturday, June 16, 2007, at Saints Cyril & Methodius Church, 185 Laird Avenue, Warren, Ohio, Reverend James P. Walker, Celebrant. Final Resting Place, All Souls' Cemetery, Hoagland Blackstub Road, Cortland, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that material contributions be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
Cremation services were provided by the Neptune Society in Houston.
