FUNERAL HELD FOR FORMER CORSICANAN WEDNESDAY MORNING

Funeral rites for I. W. W. Stanley, 81, former business man of Corsicana, who died in Pampa Sunday, were held at Modrell cemetery Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock where interment was made. The rites were conducted by Rev. Jae E. Glenn, pastor of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist church.

Mr. Stanley was a native of Mississippi, but had resided in Texas since 1881. He came to Navarro county in 1900 from Robertson county and remained here until three years ago when he moved to Pampa.

Surviving are a son, William Calvin Stanley, Mt. Sylvan; three daughters, Mrs. Rosie Ivey, Palestine; Mrs. Ira Tyceo, Plainview; and Mrs. Ellen Smith, Pampa; 26 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was directed by the Corley Funeral Home.
