He is survived by his children Debra Vega and her husband Nico Vega, Clyde 'Butch" Manual Gayoso Jr. and his wife Patty Gayoso , Ricky Dawes, Jimmy Gayoso and his wife Kim Gayoso, Kimberly Christensen and her husband Peter Christensen and Kelly Dawes. Their life was also blessed with many grandkids and great grandkids.
Shelvy was the Patriach of a beautiful blended family that he and Hazel created through a loving marriage. He earned a living as a Machinest but had many hobbies and could fix just about anything. Never judgemental and always a forgiving heart.
He knew that his life on earth was temporary. As soon as he fulfilled his purpose here he was positive that he would spend eternity with his Heavenly Father.
He was ready to see those loved ones that went before him and has promised to be there to greet those who would join him later. His advice was simple "Do what's right" and living by that simple rule he managed to live a wonderful life.
A funeral service for Shelvy will be held Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grove Hill Funeral Home, 3920 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228, followed by a committal service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
