Interment: Azleland Cemetery, Reno.
Betty was born in Sour Lake on August 28, 1927 and became a longtime resident of Azle. She worked at Trammell's Restaurant and Buddies/Winn Dixie for a time.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Red" Richey; and son, Harvey Lynn Richey.
Survivors: children, Jerry Richey and wife, Janette of Thomball, Gordon Richey and wife, Deborah of Azle, and Debra Larsen of Galveston; grandchildren, Gareth, Eric, Ashley, Elena, Kendra, Jessica, Ethan; several great-grandchildren.
Her smile and strong spirit will be missed by family and friends.
