The following article lists his name as John Calvin Miller. However, every other source that I've seen lists him as Calvin J. Miller. Which one of these is correct I don't know.

From a 1979 Kiowa County History book, not named. Story by Calvin's son, Willis Miller. Shared here by Harvey Miller and wife Marie (Harmon) Wirth-Miller;
Calvin Miller Family
John Calvin, son of Barbara E. and Jacob L. Miller, and Clara, daughter of Joreta and Charles E. Blakesee, both lived and grew up in the same community in Pawnee Co.
Calvin and Clara were married June 24, 1903 in Larned and lived with his folks several years. Three children were born there: Opal, Loren and me (Willis).
They bought a farm in Kiowa County 9 miles NW of Greensburg in 1909 and moved there when I was 6 months old. Papa brought their possessions by wagon and Mama brought we three by train. There was a two-roomed house on the farm. After moving in, they found the house full of bedbugs, so out the furniture came and they treated the house, burned the matresses and moved back in. Blaine and Ruth were born in Kiowa County.
During the first world war, our family was all down with the flu. Papa's sister, Amanda Seeleye, came to care for us and she didn't get the flu.
It wasn't but a few years when the road was changed by our house, so we moved it back some and added two more rooms.
Papa used horses to farm with for 18 years and in 1927 bought his first tractor. He used a header to cut wheat, stacked it and later a threshing machine came and threshed it. All the neighbors worked together from farm to farm. Some were brother Alvin, Seevers, Paxtons, Taylors and Ellers. These same neighbors worked together shelling corn. They would also butcher together, 6-8 hogs to each family. The next day each would render the lard and put the meat away.
