Funeral services for Beatrice Fermoyle of Morris, MN will be held Friday, March 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church in Morris. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
Beatrice Teresa Welle, daughter of Frank and Mary (Hoppe) Welle, was born on October 13, 1922 in Melrose, Minnesota. She attended grade school in Melrose and high school in Graceville. As a young woman, she worked in her parent’s restaurants in Benson and Barry, MN. Beady met James Fermoyle while living in Barry. They were united in marriage on February 6, 1941. The couple started a family, and she was fortunate to be a stay at home mom. In 1950, they made their home in Morris. James died on October 2, 1999. Beady continued to live in Morris until the time of her death.
Beady was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. As a young girl, she raised poodles. She loved her pets, camping, swimming and fishing at the lake. Beady also enjoyed reading, watching movies and crocheting. Most of all, Beady adored her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Beatrice passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019, surrounded by her family at the West Wind Village in Morris. She was 96 years old.
She is survived by her children: Karen Holme of New London, Rita (Steve) VanHee of Gresham, OR, Jim (Lynette) Fermoyle Of Morris, Sue (Jim) Hartman of Farwell, Tom (Kathy) Fermoyle of Lake Park and Kris (Phil) Kloos of Hoffman; 19 grandchildren: Sig (Steph) Holme, Tina (Steve) Huebner, Wendy (Joel) Thompson, Mike (Tammy) Holme, Amy (Ben) Gilb, Tonia (Tyler) Wubbena, Jeff (Ashley) VanHee, Todd (Jocelyn) VanHee, Jim (Sheri) Fermoyle, Heather (Loren) Gades, Heidi (Darin) Louwagie, Holly (Matt) Carrington, Dustin (Dee Dee) Hartman, Tara Fermoyle, Cody Fermoyle, Amber (special friend Barry) Fermoyle, Toni (Jon) Hughes, Dani Zarbok and Tom (Emma) Kloos; 31 great-grandchildren: Sig, Mallory and Molly Holme, Andrea (Justin) Baer, Ben Huebner, Jonathon (Ashley) Thompson, Brittany Thompson, Megan, Rylee and Ethan Holme, Ellie Gilb, Parker, Stockton, Xavier and Hope Beatrice Wubbena, Alyrica and November VanHee, Meadow and Beckett VanHee, Brittney (special friend Cory) Fermoyle, Ryan Fermoyle, Brandy, James and Josh Gades, Skyler, Sawyer and Soren Louwagie, Tayler, Maddy and Meredith Carrington, Ridley Fermoyle, Brenden and Jordyn Hughes, Asher and Kohen Zarbok and baby Kloos arriving in August and three great-great-grandchildren: Harper and Charlette Baer and Ryker Dokken.
She was preceded in death by her husband James; her parents; son-in-law: Sig Holme and her siblings and their spouses.
