Zerelda Jane Reddick was born in Baylis, Pike County, IL, to Frank N. Reddick and Rebecca Josephine Myers-Reddick. She married Francis Edward Reddick on 3 Apr 1913 in Palmyra, Marion County, MO, where they lived most of their married life. The two Reddick families were not related.

OBITUARY from Hannibal Courier Post, Hannibal, MO
Hannibal--Services for Zerelda J. Reddick, 95, Marblehead, Ill., will be
at 1 p.m. Friday at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home. The Rev. Gary
Bailey will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery in rural
Marion County.
Mrs. Reddick died at 10:43 p.m. July 7, 1991, at her home.
She was born on March 14, 1896, in Baylis, Ill., to Nicholous F. and
Rebecca J. Myers Reddick. she was married on April 3, 1913, to Francis E.
Reddick, and he died Nov. 6, 1972.
Surviving are three sons, Edward Reddick, Palmyra, Carl Reddick, Apple
Valley, Calif., and James Reddick, Marblehead, Ill.,; two daughters,
Thelma Baxter, Quincy, Ill., and Ruth Large, Hannibal; 15 grandchildren;
39 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one infant son, two brothers, four sisters
and one half-sister.
Mrs. Reddick attended Mt. Zion Christian Church.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
