James D. Locke Sr., 84
SCARBOROUGH -- James D. Locke Sr., 84, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on Aug. 25, 2013, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House.
He was born on Sept. 1, 1928, in Fort Fairfield, the son of J. Kenneth and Gertrurde (Pratt) Locke. He grew up and attended schools in Fort Fairfield. James worked for many years as a chef in the restaurant business.
James was predeceased by his parents; his wife Lillian; and his sister Margaret Bean. He is survived by his son, James D. Locke Jr., daughters, Doreen Rodgers and Darlene Locke; and a brother, Robert Locke. He is also survived by his grandchildren, James Pickett, Shane Rodgers, Dylan Rodgers and Keelia Clarkson; and his great-grandchildren, Austin Pickett, Jordan Pickett and Lola Rodgers.
Services are private. Arrangements are under the care of A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland.
