He retired after 25 years from Clark Memorial Hospitals Maintenance Department. He attended First Baptist Church in Charlestown and was described by his family as a avid Hunter and Fisherman.
Wally's survivors include his loving wife, Lola Amburgey Whitlow; daughter, Tonya Hebner and her husband Derek of Charlestown; brothers, George Whitlow and his wife Vivian, Roger Whitlow and his wife May Beth all of Charlestown; sister, Pauline Amick of Madison, IN; grandchildren, Raegan “Baby” Hebner, Gavan “Big Boy” Hebner and his fiancé Ashley Ricks; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 11:00 A.M at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday beginning at 9:00A.M. until 11:00 A.M.
