Dolly Mae Davis, age 84, retired Hansley Mill employee, widow of Gilbert H. Davis, died Monday, February 25, 2013, at Bourbon Community Hospital, in Paris, Kentucky. She was born February 29, 1928, in Hamlin, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Scott and Violady Reynolds Browning.

Mrs. Davis is survived by: three daughters, Brenda (Gary) Thompson, of Mobile, Alabama, Cynthia (Thomas) Noel, of Paris, and Linda (Larry) Florence, of Bourbon County; three sons, Richard (Marie) Browning, of Hamlin, West Virginia, Howard (Phyllis) Lawson, Jr., of Millersburg, and Paul (Carolyn) Davis, of Paris; three brothers, Henson Browning, of Nevada, Jerry Browning, of West Virginia, and John Browning, of Washington; a sister, Thelma Browning, of West Virginia; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 28, at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home by Rev. Kevin Strausbaugh, with burial in Evergreen Memory Gardens. Casket bearers will be Burl Clark, Perry E. Hutson, G.T. Lawson, John Lawson, Brent Lawson, Brent Florence and Dan Florence. Dr. James L. Ferrell will serve as honorary bearer. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
