G. Dale Garfield, "Pepsi Man", 44, of Homer, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2005, at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall.

He was born September 29, 1960, in Jackson, to Graydon Garfield and Frances (Kady) Garfield.

Mr. Garfield was employed by Pepsi Cola Company in Coldwater for the past 15 years.

He was a member of the American Motor-cycle Foundation and ABATE of Michigan Region 13.
He could also be found spending time on the water in his boat and participating in different water sports.

Mr. Garfield is survived by his mother, Frances Garfield of Batteese Lake; his significant other, Carmen Saldivar of Homer; a son, Justin Dale Garfield of Springport; four daughters, Ashley Day Garfield of Hillsdale, Kayley and Kyley Warfield, both of Spring Arbor and Brandy Warner of Albion; three grandchildren; two brothers, John (Tren) Garfield of Albion and Steve Gar-field of Batteese Lake; three nieces and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 24, at the Homer Chapel of Tidd-Williams Funeral Chapels, with Pastor Toby Teague officiating.
