John Ernest Johnson, 62, lost his battle with cancer and passed away on March 1, 2019 in Alvarado, Texas.

John was born on March 11, 1956 in Santa Clara County, California. He relocated to Alvarado, Texas in 2001, and resided there until his death.

He was the son of David Earl and Mary Ernestine Johnson, who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Michael Bing Johnson.

John graduated high school in San Jose, California. He was a Journeyman Plumber, as well as a creative remodeling expert.
He loved cooking for his family, hiking, music, creating art, and just being ‘Papa’ John to his children, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, as well as their friends.

He will be remembered by his wife, Tammie Johnson; his children, Joshua Parker, Alicia Johnson, Amber Cruz, Caitlin Hughes, Dustin Johnson, Ruby Johnson, and Skyler LoPresti; 5 grandchildren; his brothers, Mark Johnson, Larry Johnson, and Leo Johnson; his sister, JoAnn Johnson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
