Rosebud – Mrs. Adeline Elizabeth (Mays) Beers died on May 23, at her home in Rosebud following an illness of several months. Born in Ansonville July 21, 1855, she was aged 88 years, 10 months and 2 days at the time of her death. Mrs. Beers was a member of the United Brethren Church and a charter member of Camp 187 of the Patriotic Order of America. Surviving the deceased are three children, Mrs. Milan Brink of Irvona; Miss Mollie at home; George H. of Pittsburgh; 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Her husband, Lewis T. Beers, a Civil War veteran, preceded her in death 26 years ago. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon, May 26, from her late home with Rev. Albert Steiner, pastor of the U.B. Church, officiating. Special services were held by the members of Camp 187 at the home on Thursday evening. Interment was made in the Utahville Cemetery.
