Emily Catherine Davidson Sparks was the wife of Henry Clefford Sparks and the daughter of Thomas James Davidson and Annie Elvira Harlan Davidson. She is buried in the Old Mount Tabor Cemetery but the cemetery has grown up in trees and cattle have been allowed to roam in the cemetery. Therefore, no gravesite was found.

The Sparks Family Bible says this about her death:
Mamma taken sick on Thanksgiving day November 27th Thursday in the year of 1893 and died December 10, 1893. She was a true and faithful mother and shall never be forgotten. The flowers she has strewn along our way are pearls strong for eternity. Mother, Mother (unreadable word) most sweet. Heaven may quiet our weary feet. Gone where mother is.
