William A. Hanover, 64, of Route 2, Pekin, a retired grocer, died Saturday at Americana Nursing Center in Pekin.
He was born Oct. 16, 1908, at Downs, the son of William and Emma Kagel Hanover. He married Alice Drake on Jan. 24, 1934, at Lacon.
Surviving besides his wife, are his mother of Pekin, and a son, William, of North Pekin. His father preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
