Her funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 29, 2020 at McEvoy Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service in Olive Branch Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Mark Odom, Mike Odom, Terrance Phifer, Clinton Phifer, Ronnie Scott, and Camron Odom.
Visitation is scheduled on Saturday after 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
Elizabeth Barger was born December 28, 1949 in Paris, Tennessee to the late Bill "Willie" Burnett and the late Ruby Elizabeth Beavers Burnett.
She married Larry Barger on March 15, 1976 and he preceded her in death on November 27, 2015.
She is survived by her daughters, Angela Phifer of Paris and Kimberley Barger (Thomas Strickland) of Paris; sons, Michael Odom of Paris and Mark (Tammy) Odom of Mansfield; sister, Pearlie Mae Dooley of Oklahoma; brother, Billy (Joyce) Burnett of Paris; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband Elizabeth is also preceded by her brother, Robert Burnett.
Elizabeth attended Old Landmark Church in Paris. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed flowers and the outdoors.
