Doris was always a loving caregiver to everyone that knew her. Doris’s family was the very center of her life. She was a homemaker her whole life, and she loved it. Doris always made sure that everything for her family was constantly taken care of so they did not have to worry about it. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband Bill Pearson; parents Jess and Edith (Saxon) Fink; dear in-laws George and Elizabeth Pearson; four sisters Melba Bright, Lorene Shipley, Coleen Driskell, Sue McClelland; and two brothers: Don Fink and Kendall Fink.
Doris is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Brenda and Donell Rogers of Muskogee, OK, grandson Nick and wife Alicia Rogers of Anna, TX, granddaughter Brigette and husband Travis Bearden of Muskogee, OK, two great grandsons Jake Bearden of Muskogee, OK, and Nash Rogers of Anna, TX, great granddaughter Anna Rogers of Anna, TX, two brothers Jess and wife Bobbie Fink of Blackgum, OK, and Jack Fink of Heber Springs, AR.
She was also survived by sister-in-law Modean (Pearson) Cannon of Seaford, DE, sister-in-law Norma Lou Pearson and the late Don Pearson of Muskogee, OK, brother-in-law Charles and Jan Pearson of Muskogee, OK, brother-in-law Wayne Pearson of Muskogee, OK, sister-in-law Lucy and Larry Randolph of Sallisaw, OK, sister-in-law Shirley and Bruce Shropshire of Muskogee, OK, special cousin Brookie Maycher of Muskogee, OK, and a host of extended family and friends.
The celebration of Doris Pearson’s life will be Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Fosters’ Ivory Chapel in Muskogee, OK with her grandson Rev. Nick Rogers and Rev. Windell Cox officiating. The Pallbearers will be Charles Clark, Mike Fink, Jon Leeds, Art Pearson, Mark Pearson, John Randolph, and Wes Tollison.
Funeral services will be under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
