Harris, Jeffery "Scotty", 47, passed away August 25, 2018. He worked at Churchill Downs Incorporated as a concierge as well as an analyst for Handicapping Heroes, and above all he loved his family and his extended family. Scotty was thankful for his brothers, Pete, Joe, Ernie, Walt, Andy, and Tim. He loved horse racing, gambling, traveling, playing pool, and hunting. He never missed a chance to take a chance.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Mary Harris.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 20 years, Jamie A. Harris; children, Angela Henderson (Tommy) and Anthony Lofgren (Danielle); grandchildren, Blaine and Jaxson; aunts, Delores Newton and Frankie Marking (Jim); along with numerous friends and his Churchill Downs family.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with the entombment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
