Norma Jean Clary, age 78, of Rutledge, MO passed away Saturday June 2, 2007, at the Scotland County Memorial Hospital in Memphis, MO.
She was was born on October 3, 1928, at Rutledge, the daughter of Milton Adams and Jewell Lorena Peterson Price.
On May 25, 1946, at Knox City, MO she was united in marriage to Raymond Samuel Clary and he preceeded her in death on October 25, 1999. Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Surviving are one son Milton Earl Clary and his wife Pat of Memphis, MO, two grandchildren Eric Steven Clary of Osawatomie, KS, Tina Luderman and husband Shawn of Lompoc, CA, two great grandchildren, Ryan Steven Clary and Madison Jane Luderman, two sisters, Dorothy Clark and husband Emery, and Janet Shaw both of Rutledge, MO, one sister-in-law Alma Clary of Troy, MO and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Clary was raised in the Rutledge area where she attended the Brick grade school and the Rutledge High School. She and her husband were engaged in farming southeast of Rutledge, MO. She was also employed for twenty-three years at Shellor Globe Auto Parts Factory at Keokuk, IA. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning, her dog Snoopy and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Harmony Grove Baptist Church.
Funeral services was held at 10am Tuesday June 5, 2007, at the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. The Reverend Mike Wilson officiated the services.
