DURRANCE, EDITH HENDRIX, 93, of Tampa, died Sunday (Dec. 13, 1987). Born in Marion County, she came to Tampa 13 years ago from Gainesville, where she lived 35 years. She was a nursing home manager and a member of First Baptist Church of Tampa. She was a member of the church's Gleanors Sunday school class, and a former member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville. Survivors include a son, Bernard C. Blitch, Tampa; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Stowers-B. Marion Reed Funeral Home, Tampa.
After divorce from Beverly C. Blitch in 1928, she married Mitchell Durrance in 1946.
