"Catherine 'Cathy' L. Friedmann, 71, of Utica, NY passed away on December 3, 2021 after battling cancer. Cathy was born in Stamford, New York, and was the oldest child of John 'Jack' and Dorothy Friedmann. Cathy grew up with her best friend and sister, Cindy. Cathy attended SUNY New Paltz where she obtained her teaching degree and spent her career teaching third grade within the Sauquoit school district. Cathy is survived by her niece, Larissa (Justin) Pauly, and her nephew, Michael (Kayla) Sharshon. The family would like to thank the Abraham House for their exceptional care of Cathy in her final days.
