REMEMBER JERRY
Remember him with a smile,
Or remember him not at all.
This, I believe, would be the wish
Of Jerry Michael Hall.
Remember him in Hawaiian garb
Complete with hula skirt.
Remember his pair of purple shorts
And his matching purple shirt.
Remember him as a clown,
A king, cheerleader,singer, actor.
Remember every song and skit
In which he was a major factor.
Remember him as a teacher
Who showed us, oh, so well
That science could be as wondrous
As walking in a cell.
Remember the Stuco sponsor
Who enhanced all celebrations
And dances in the cafeteria
With elaborate decorations.
Remember him for his woodwork,
Proudly owned by some,
That will brighten future holidays
For decades yet to come.
Remember him as a man who spoke
Whenever he thought himself right,
Not around the corner or behind a back,
But face to face in plain sight.
Remember the loud, infectious laugh,
The enthusiastic shouts.
Remember his work with diabetic kids
And the years well spent with Scouts.
Remember, too, the family man,
Wife Sheryl, Daughter Mindi, Son Brent.
They know who their Guardian Angel is.
They know he's Heaven sent.
There are sure to be dedications,
A plaque upon the wall.
But remember Jerry with a smile,
Or remember him not at all.

Remembering and Honoring Jerry Hall (1955-2004)
DO NOT WEEP FOR ME
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die.
