OBITUARY - Roy Key
Roy Key, son of Walter J. and Clara Belle Landis (sic: Landes) Key, was born at Neal, November 23, 1894, and died January 18, 1976 at the Greenwood County Hospital at the age of 81 years.
He was a retired farmer, moving to Eureka in 1953. He was married to Bessie Thompson, December 8, 1916, and she preceded him in death, September 20, 1969. He was married to Florence Hillman Johnson, September 7, 1973, at Eureka.
Those who survive him are his widow, Florence, of the home; two step-sons Ernest and Grant Johnson of Wichita; three step-daughters, Mrs. Viola Hotvedt and Mrs. Veda Day of Wichita and Mrs. Irene Hull of Hutchinson; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Bonnett of Severy and Mrs. Ruth (sic: Ruby) Higbee of Eureka; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Robert F. Schaechtele at the Campbell Funeral Home, Wednesday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. with interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
