Robin F. Baldasaro-Dustin, 47, of 95 Main Street, Porter, ME died unexpectedly at her home. She was born a daughter of James and Nance O'Brien Saunders. Her family moved to Vermont, and she attended Westminister, VT schools as a child. She later received her GED from Sacopee Valley High School here in South Hiram, ME.

She was also a graduate of Pierre's School of Beauty Culture in Sanford, ME, where she finished at the top of her class. She worked as a cosmetologist locally for some time, and also worked for several years as a CNA at the Bridgton Health Care Center. She did local hospice care through the nursing home as well.

She had been a volunteer at the Peabody House in Portland; and she and her husband had been foster parents for several years.

She loved the ocean, camping, and very much enjoyed traveling. Above all, she loved her family and had a love for any and all people that she knew.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Robert B. Dustin; her mother, Nance Belisle; her father, James Saunders; a son, Michael Baldasaro; a daughter, Johnna Shortsleeves; five brothers, Ernie Saunders, James Saunders, David Saunders, Brian Gonyea, and Richie Gonyea; two sisters, Jennifer Dyer and Rhonda Valentia; two granddaughters, Paige and Natalie Shortsleeves.

A celebration of her life will be held at the York Funeral Chapel, 71 Maple Street, Cornish, ME.
