His parents were Robert William Parker and his wife Ellen Matilda

His wife was Alice Isobel Parker (nee Gatfield) 4 Laurel Cottages Bagshot.

Pvt. Parker did not die in Bagshot but at a Military Hospital in Norwich.

Baptised at St Michael’s in Camberley on the 2nd of April 1876.
His father was a gardener at the Royal Military College.

On the 19th of April 1897 he married Alice Isobel Gatfield at Bagshot .
They had six children between 1897 and 1911 – four of whom were alive when the census was taken.
In 1911 he was working as a gardener – living on Jenkins Hill at Bagshot.
