DANIEL QUINCEY BENNETT: 48; native son of Shelton, passed away at a local hosp [Monday 7-03]. Daniel was born here 23 Nov 1896. He spent nearly all his life here & was a veteran of World War I, having served in the Navy.
Survivors include his wife-Phyllis; a son: Daniel Robert-now in the Army Air Corps; a dau: Miss Edith-Shelton; his father-JohnF Bennett; bros: Dewey-Shelton; Verl-Prosser; 1 sis: Mrs Elma Baker-Shelton.
Services were held on Thursday afternoon [7-06] from Witiers Funeral Parlors. Pallbearers: Cliff Wivell, Maurice Needham, Dick Seager, Herbert Angle, Martin Smith & Arthur Griggs.
