Alberta Sue Barrett, age 79, of Fulton, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019, at her home.
Alberta was born on September 18, 1939, in Fulton, Missouri, the daughter of the late Sherman Lee and Ida Thomas Peneston.
Alberta was married to Charley Barrett on July 27, 1968 in Fulton and he preceded her in death in 2011.
Susie worked for the Fulton State Hospital for over thirty-seven years until her retirement in 1994. She was an active member of Carrington Baptist Church and she will be remembered as someone who loved to take care of her nieces and nephews.
Alberta is survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; twenty-four great-nieces and nephews; sixteen great-great-nieces and nephews.
Alberta was also preceded in death by five brothers, Leroy, Bill, Herb, George and Bob Peneston; one niece and one great-niece.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial will follow it Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carrington Baptist Church.
