On January 24, 2006, Howard went to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Dimongo Jones; Father, Allen Jones; Mother, Maggie Jones (Peters); Brothers, Robert Jones, Allen Jones Jr.; Big Sister, Ada Florence Frank (Jones); and Nephews, Harold Frank, Robert Frank, Floyd Keisner, Gerald Frank; plus Nieces, Gloria Frank, Eunice Wallace (Keisner) and Katrina Lilly.

To this date Howard is survived by his other Big Sister, Louise Keisner (Jones) and numerous Nephews and Nieces, also listed in somewhat in order: Robert Lilly, Oscar Lilly, Delmar Keisner Jr., Edward Keisner, Fredrick Keisner, Sandra Keisner, Arlys Stedman, Rhoda Keisner, William Frank Sr., Carolyn Frank, Rickey Frank, Mary Evenson “Itsy” (Frank) and Jewel Frank. Howard’s wake is at the Jones Homesite of Weitchpec from 11 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2006, through 3 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2006. His Farewell of Honor will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Jones Homesite.

Arrangements are under the care of Pierce Mortuary Chapel, Eureka.
