Clinton R. Currie, 90, of Woodville, passed away, Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at his residence.

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Woodville United Methodist Church in Woodville. Family graveside services will follow at 3 p.m. at Ivie Cemetery near Kennard. Officiating will be Reverend Amanda Davis. Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Hickman, Kenneth Allen, Ken Weaver, Gorden McCluskey, Jerry Tolbert and Dwayne Walters.

Clinton was born November 22, 1928 to Bee C. & Ada Gallant Currie in Houston County, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Tyler County. He was retired Tyler County Ag Agent with over 30 years of service. He was a member of the Woodville United Methodist Church. Clinton was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bee C. & Ada Currie; brothers, Carlos Currie and Cleaburn Currie; and sister, Frances Currie.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
