PANTON / CABOT, VT. - Bradley "Brad" Dale Hutchins Sr., passed away on March 20th 2019 while vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

He was born on September 9th 1954 in Barre, Vt., he was the son of Nola Deane (Hight) Foley and Lawrence Earl Hutchins, one of seven siblings.

He married his high school sweetheart; Anne Louise Smith on April 15th 1978 in Burlington, Vermont and would have celebrated 41 years of marriage. Together they had two beautiful sons and another who became his third son.

Brad was very active in the Vergennes Rescue Squad for 15 years, Lions Club, and served as Scoutmaster of Troop 539.

He worked at Simmonds Precision/Goodrich in Vergennes, Vt. for over 30 years.

He hiked the long trail from end to end and was able to build his dream home in Cabot, Vt., where he spent many years making maple syrup.

He was predeceased by one son; Bradley "BJ" Dale Hutchins Jr. on November 23rd 2001, two brothers; Daryle Lee Hutchins on November 24th 2001 and Bryce Courtney Hutchins on September 1st 2000, and father & mother-in-law; Robert Emmett Smith on October 29th 1985 and Doris Anne (Carlow) Smith on August 13th 2017.
