Jessie Lee Hampton, 89, of Jeremiah passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Jessie was the daughter of the late William Riley and Polly Ann Dixon Back. She was the widow of Wilburn Hampton. Surviving is 2 sons: Glenn (Zoni) Hampton of Redstar and Roger (Libby) Hampton of Jeremiah; 2 daughters: Judy Mulhern of Dayton, Ohio and Sandra (Tim) Breeding of Winchester; 1 stepson: Eulis (Shirley) Hampton of Cincinnati, Ohio; 2 sisters: Ann Ruth Elam of Dayton, Ohio and Bertha of Austin, Indiana; 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Jessie was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Mary Katherine McPherson; 2 stepdaughters: Janice Brown and Maxie Hampton; 2 stepsons: Wayne Hampton and Willis Hampton. 3 brothers: Emory Back, Vyron Back, and Custer Back. 4 sisters: Grace Caudill, Vivian Branson, Bertie Miller, and Carrie Roberts. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M.
