widow of the late William Chetwood. She was the daughter of Colonel Francis Barber, an aid to General Washington.
She was the mother of 12 children, 11 grew up. Eight were daughters, three were sons. The daughters that survived her; Mrs Chester, the widow of late late Rev. Alfred Chester, Mrs Sarah Robert, Mrs. Elizabeth Spencer, Mrs. J.C. Wetmore and Henrietta. Mrs. William G Bull and Mrs. Charles Bispham of Mout Holly. Only one son survived her, Ex-Mayor, F. B. Chetwood.
A daughter, Susan Jelf Shiras predeceased her.
